Water Progress!

I am honored to be serving as a steward of Marin’s pristine water supply, our critical habitat, trails and more. In our first year we:

• Fixed a financial situation that was upside down and losing $1M per month in proceeds,

• Successfully negotiated the first union contract since 2011 (after multiple extensions),

• Approved of the first recreation plan/pilot program since 2004,

• Approved the first long time water supply roadmap ever,

• Began controlled burns for the first time on our watershed to protect from the damaging impact of climate change and invasive species fire risk,

• Are on the cusp of approving our first Water Resiliency and Conservation Master Plan ever,

• Rebuilt regional partnerships,

• And more!

My experience is elevated by the thoughtful community engagement and tremendous work from our outstanding staff. Looking forward to the coming months and years of progress at Marin Water.
